Snowshoe GeoQuest
The snowshoe & fondue geocache event was a lot of fun. Thanks to everyone who was involved. We are thinking of doing another snowshoe & fondue evening in February. Please let us know if you are intrested or have any suggestions.
Celebration & Auction

Friday evening, Feb.5th at the Harbourfront Resort and Conference Centre in Salmon Arm.
Enjoy live music with Scarecrow, DJ support with Patrick Riley, a dance floor, hot buffet appies, cash bar, silent auction, trail awards, and the Best-of Shuswap Trail film/photo footage from 2009. The Prestige is also offering rooms for $89 that include a $25 gift certificate at Aquatico Bay for breakfast or dinner so you can turn the event into a mini weekend getaway. GPS Group Purchase
We are putting together an order to buy new GPS units for educational programs. As we are buying a larger quantity, Canadian Tire will be giving us a discount. This discount will be available for anyone who wants to order a new GPS at the same time. Several accommodation providers have expressed interest in buying a GPS to have for guests to use. Cache Calendar
The 2010 Shuswap GeoQuest Calendar is in production and will be ready by the end of the month. We are looking for geocachers to create a cache of the month. Contact us if you would like to have a cache hide recognized as the cache of the month. We can provide assistance, advice, materials and more. Each cache will be published during the corresponding month.
